Several newspapers have begun to reflect on their role in creating the Obama Presidency. They were certainly not unbiased and many times so effusive in their praise that they were blinded to the basic ethical standards of journalism. Three articles come to mind. A Giddy Sense of Boosterism by Howard Kurtz (Washington Post) He discusses the religion of Obama and the Boosterism given by the mainstream media which demonstrates their lack of objectivity. An Obama Tilt in Campaign Coverage by Deborah Howell (Washington Post)The Post provided a lot of good campaign coverage, but readers have been consistently critical of the lack of probing issues coverage and what they saw as a tilt toward Democrat Barack Obama. My surveys, which ended on Election Day, show that they are right on both counts. Media's Presidential Bias and Decline by Michael S. Malone (ABC News) As a fourth generation report, Michael Malone is ashamed of the bias in the traditional media. His realizations came over a period of time which he recounts as numerous incidents from the "New Journalism" shift into now an era of bad faith and conscious advocacy. A profound moment came with the CNN (Clinton News Network) International TV on the Israel atrocties but the nonexistent Hezbollah missile attacks on Israel:
