ACTION:  Write a Play.

 

The theater is still an extraordinary forum to stir thought and get out new information under the First Amendment.  When it's permitted, of course, by the local powers that be. Plays resonate with the public and can cause controversy - perhaps with such incredibly radical lines as "I love America" and "I want to fight Terrorism"

 

Write about a topic that you believe in.  Think inexpensive - five actors or less.  Rent a local theater.  Publicize it in the local papers.  Maybe get a sponsor to help you with the publicity.  Brainstorm.


A few brave souls are pushing forward with conservative, pro-American plays on, of all places, Broadway.

•Reagan" is a one-man play that doesn't portray the 40th president as a fascist. It's by Lionel Chetwynd, whose scripts for television and film include "The Hanoi Hilton," "Color of Justice," "Kissinger and Nixon" and "DC 9/11: Time of Crisis."

•The other play is "Girls in Trouble (Formerly Three Abortions)" by Jonathan Reynolds, one of the few openly conservative members of the Dramatists Guild.

•His play "Stonewall Jackson's House," a sharp attack on political correctness, was a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 1998.

Organize a Letter Network   (Excerpted from "Citizen Soldier Handbook")

Why This Is Important:  If you have a pen and ten willing friends, you have ten times the power.     If you can get a hundred people, a thousand people or more, then you can bring more People Power to bear.   You can write letters to these targets:
•Pressure elected officials who create foolish and naïve policies
•Expose newspaper editors too Politically Correct to label murderers as terrorists
•Hammer school officials who give in to terrorist sympathizer groups to change their policies.  
•Lean on the local School Board about their absurd, politically correct policies.

Why Not Email?   Email has simply lost its impact.   With spam and the ease of sending email, the recipient may not ‘feel’ any real pressure.   The deluge of today’s email has diminished the weight of individual voters behind the email effort.  Emails require little effort and are given even less attention.  They are deleted or relegated to a file folder on the server at best.   

To measure an issue’s interest, I read that politicians believe that an actual letter indicates three hundred to five hundred constituents who feel the same way about an issue.  In other words, your single letter has the weight of three hundred or more neighbors and citizens! And with more people in a Letter Network, you have more leverage.

E Pluribus Unum was one of the first national mottos of the United States of America. The motto has thirteen letters, representing the Thirteen independent colonies united into a single country.     Selected by the first Great Seal committee in 1776 during the American Revolution, the Continental Congress approved this motto for the Great Seal in 1782.    From the Latin, “E” means “out of”.  “Pluribus” means “many”.   “Unum” means “One.”

Tactic: Think and Digest Quotes- George Orwell PDF Print E-mail
George Orwell was a fascinating man.  From a Wikipedia article:

Eric Arthur Blair (25 June 1903 – 21 January 1950),[1] better known by his pen name George Orwell, was an English author. His work is marked by a profound consciousness of social injustice, an intense dislike of totalitarianism, and a passion for clarity in language.

Considered "perhaps the 20th century’s best chronicler of English culture",[2] he wrote works in many different genres including fiction, polemics, journalism, memoir and critical essays. His most famous works are two novels: Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949).

 

ACTION:  There are many things that I don't like about Orwell but his clarity in the use of language is not one of them.   Whether or not you agree with everything, read the quotes below.  If you disagree, then great - think about WHY you disagree to form an argument or an opinion in a reasonable thought process.   Too often these days, we castigate individuals as 'idiots' (which they may very well be) but let's start with logic and reason.

Use Humor...and Columbo to Make a Point PDF Print E-mail

Technique:  You can use humor and some recognizable old fashioned TV characters to make a point.  In this case, old time bumbling TV detective Columbo questions Obama on his missing records.  This was sent from my friend Jim and his mother.

(Still scratching his head)  Ah . . . Sorry to bother you Mr. Obama, Sir.   Excuse me Mr. Obama, I mean Senator Obama, sir. Um . . . Know you are busy and important and stuff. I mean running for president is very important and . . . Ah . . . I hate to bother you. I will only take a minute ok, sir? See, I have these missing pieces that are holding me up, and I was wondering sir, if you could take time out of your busy schedule and help me out. You know, no big deal, just some loose ends and things.

Voter Fraud Raids in Nevada PDF Print E-mail

A community group called ACORN had its offices raided for submitting irregular voting records.    The article says:

"State authorities on Tuesday raided an organization that registers low-income people to vote, alleging that its canvassers falsified forms with bogus names, fake addresses or famous personalities.

The secretary of state's office launched an investigation after noticing that names did not match addresses and that most members of the Dallas Cowboys appeared to be registering in Nevada to vote in November's general election."

TAKE ACTION:  You should contact local and national media to keep attention on any Voter Fraud Investigation.
