My friends at RadioJihad.org interview Geert Wilders who is an outspoken critic of Radical Islam in his native Netherlands. I was also recently interviewed by Vito and Alan, on RadioJihad.org.

Geert Wilders (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈxeːrt ˈʋɪldərs] or [ˈʝeːʁt ˈʋɪldəʁs]; born 6 September 1963) is a Dutch politician and leader of the Party for Freedom, a party in The Netherlands. Born in the city of Venlo and raised as a Roman Catholic, Wilders attributes his politics to his support for what he calls 'Judeo-Christian values'. He formed many of his political views in his travels to Israel, as well as the neighboring Arab countries and his early job at the Dutch social insurance agency moved him to politics, where he worked as a speechwriter for the liberal People's Party for Freedom and Democracy. In 1996, he moved to the city of Utrecht, and was elected in the city council, and later the House of Representatives of the Netherlands.
Citing irreconcilable differences on the party's position on Turkish accession to the European Union, Wilders left the People's Party in 2004 to form his own party, the Party for Freedom. Since then, he has been outspoken on a number of issues such as immigration, freedom of speech, the fundamental beliefs of Islam,[2] and the behavior of Moroccan youth in the cities.[3] His controversial 2008 film about Islam in the Netherlands, Fitna, has received international attention. On 21 January 2009, the Amsterdam Court of Appeal ordered his prosecution for what it said was "the incitement to hatred and discrimination".[4] Wilders has also been banned from entering the United Kingdom since 12 February 2009, with the Home Office viewing his presence as a "threat to one of the fundamental interests of society".[5] |

iWATCH, iREPORT, i KEEP US SAFE (iWATCH) is a community awareness program created to educate the public about behaviors and activities that may have a connection to terrorism.
This program is a community program to help your neighborhood stay safe from terrorist activities. It is a partnership between your community and the Los Angeles Police Department. We can and must work together to prevent terrorist attacks.
To learn about the iWATCH program and about the behaviors and activities that you should report, view the videos and review the list of examples. You can also read and download a brochure that explains the program.
Remember that the iWATCH program is about behaviors and activities, not individuals.

Stop Islamization of America Network is a superb resource for learning about radical Islam. As of right now (Nov 1), they have an excellent Lecture series from Dr. Bill Warner, a well-known scholar on Political Islam.
Remember, Islam is not only a religion but also dictates politics, society, military and other areas of living. That means that Radical Islam's potential to coexist with a secular society that separates Religion and Government is impossible. In this form of Islam, they are one and the same.

During the first Gulf War, several of my friends from school were in the reserves and were activated to fight the Iraqis. CNN reported that once the soldiers were deployed, they were faced with massive downtime and were restricted to their base due to the travel limitations set by the Saudi government.
I am a voracious reader and at the beginning of the Gulf War, I had a closet full of paperback books. Books that were not being used. So instead of selling them at the used book store, I packed them up in small care packages and sent them out to all the soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen I had addresses for.
Within a few weeks, I ran out of books before I ran out of addresses. Friends and family members began donating their paperback books and in the end, over 1000 books were sent to the Gulf.
After the war, we received many thank-you notes from soldiers who got one of our books. Unless it was time for them to fly back home, mail-call days were one of the most anticipated events of deployment. Regardless of why the military is deployed, the men and women of our armed services are there for us. They deserve our support and if we can make their deployment easier, then all the better.
